Oral Surgery Interest Group (OSIG)
The Oral Surgery Interest Group (OSIG) is an organization that exists to engage, involve, and educate students in oral and maxillofacial surgery clinical knowledge, research, and new technologies. Through lectures, group discussion, and hands-on clinical experience, OSIG provides students with information about what oral surgeons do, how to become and oral surgeon, and an understanding in the discipline of hospital-based oral and maxillofacial surgery. OSIG provides and platform for UF dental students to interact with oral and maxillofacial surgery faculty and residents, and in addition, provides the opportunity for students to participate in the Grad Clinic or in the operating room.
